I didn't put up a post yesterday due to being too darn sick to do one. My IBS kicked my ass and had me in the bathroom as much as it had me down on my back, trying to rest. I did actually TRY to do a little cooking but just couldn't do much in the way of eating. The Beast ate, at least. Today, probably in an attempt to apologize, he went to KFC for our dinner. Chewlee hates bones in her chicken so she didn't eat any and had her usual chicken noodle soup and a couple hot dogs for her dinner.
Tonight Chewlee spent the night so I just HAD to lay down with her so she would go to sleep right away. Me? I took a bit of a nap (of course!) while doing that but I am still trying to recover from my IBS attack. I have no idea what brought it on but I doubled up my meds for it and it seems to be under control right now.
Chewlee was really funny today. She was trying to cajole the Beast into giving her some pickles and he wanted to take some pictures of her. So that was how she got more pickles. She posed for him and, let me tell you, she did a really great job. She almost looks like a model with the way she posed. She smiled brightly and had the cutest looks on her face. She tossed her hair around and bent her head so darn cute that she made us laugh. She looked like she was imitating the hair models on TV.
Needless-to-say, she got a lot of pickles.....LOL. When I was sick and doing mostly sleeping, Chewlee took her cartoon watching to the Beast's TV (and he let her). He also provided her with her snacks that I usually did until the Princess picked her up. I didn't even hear them go. I got up during the night and turned on my computer to check the email that I hadn't even looked at. An online friend of mine wanted me to play one of the yahoo games with her but I was just not up to it. I talked with her for a bit and then shut down and went back to bed.
Today was a delicate day because I still was doing the *run for the potty* a couple times until the meds kicked in and stopped that from going on. Took my intestines a bit to quiet down and get settled but I think the attacks are over for a while.
The Princess had to drop off Chewlee's church shoes and, wouldn't you know, she didn't bring any socks for her to wear with them. She also didn't bring any kind of coat or sweater for her to wear and I don't have a winter type dress for her either. I don't know what she was thinking since she knows the mornings are cold. I don't even have a sweater for her. It really ticks me off that the Princess wasn't really thinking about keeping Chewlee comfortable at all. In fact, I don't think she was thinking.
I need to get this posted so I will close for now. Love you all. Keep yourself warm and comfortable depending on whatever kind of weather your area has. Enjoy your Sunday. **Wink**
