The days and nights are getting much cooler. In fact, the Beast took some pictures of me and Chewlee out on the front porch and it was darn chilly out. It was around 1pm and should have been a bit warmer than it was, I think.
Chewlee wasn't really in the mood for taking pictures and that shows in a couple of them. But she put up with it and the Beast DID get a few good pictures out of it. After giving her a couple pickles as a reward for not being totally miserable about the pictures, I stood out on the deck and looked around at the garden. The part that is still *alive and kicking* needs to be harvested for the last time. There are jalapenos, green peppers and a few tomatoes that should be picked. They will be the last of the season.
It's always a kind of sad time when the last of the vegetables are being picked. It means winter is just around the corner. Even Chewlee brought up how she doesn't like cold weather (like me!) but she knows it's coming. She told me that she likes *warm* weather, not hot and not cold but just right! LOL...remind you of anything?
