Up Again Until After 2am.......

Tonight I have the correct cord plugged into Cee's GPS and I will download the update for it after 2am.  Why at that time do you ask?  Because our Internet provider has this stupid allotment set-up.  We get 30GB's every month BUT....it's divided up this way:  we pay for those 30GB's and get 15GB available to us from 8am until 2am.  The other 15GB are available only from 2am until 8am.  Now, does that make sense to you?

We've had to purchase additional GB's several times since, like most people, we tend to be up and on the internet actually during the hours of 8am until about 10pm.  I am the only one in our household that is sometimes...and that is SOMETIMES....up after 2am.  Those GB's usually don't get used by much unless I stay up, like the past several days, to do special downloads.  Normally, if I get up at that time of night (usually after a nice nap after dinner so I CAN stay up), I play this game I own that I am not using up those GB's because I OWN the game and don't even have to be ON the internet to play it.  The game eventually tires my eyes and enables me to go back to bed and sleep for several more hours.

I really get pissed at our internet provider because they are NOT cheap for what they provide and the strength of the signal we get is spotty.  It's not like a cable connection and, with cable, you don't have to worry about how many GB's you are using.  I personally think the 30GB's we pay for should be the daytime/anytime ones and that all GB's used after 2am should be FREE.  Trust me, it's very expensive for us to even buy that many GB's and that is the largest that they *sell*.  Who says the internet is free???

Anyway, here I am, once again, staying up to download something I should be able to do during the day so that this old lady (I know age is just a state of mind but my body keeps telling me I'm crazy!) wouldn't have to do this crap.  This is one thing I have against Dish satellite service.  If you have it or are thinking about getting it, just remember their policy on internet service so it's not a surprise.  I like their television service (except on stormy days when we often lose it or if we have a heavy snow so that we have to get on a ladder and clean off the dish).  Thankfully we don't often get snow here and that's a good thing.

Tomorrow I will return Cee's GPS to her, bring her back her top that I borrowed the other day and let her borrow my Jurassic World DVD so she can see the new wave of dinosaur killings...LOL.  You have to admire the people who do the animations...they truly are amazing.

The Beast couldn't find his glue that he was going to give me to fix the broken antler on the reindeer I gave the Princess so he had to run over to Lowe's to get me some.  He got me two different kinds. thank goodness.  One is an epoxy (which I didn't want but he will use I'm sure) and the other is Loctite super glue gel.  That is what I wanted since you can use it on porous surfaces (like broken coffee cup handles and, of course, a ceramic antler...LOL).

I am going to close now since the rest of my day was very ho-hum even though our temperature got up to 80 today.  80!  In November!  Weird.  Even Baron didn't want to do anything but sit around.  He didn't even want to go out for a run (which worries me a bit).  He had his eye out for his little buddy across the way from us but he wasn't outside at all today it seems.

Love you all.  Be good.  Dress appropriately for whatever weather you have.  Be kind to everyone even if they don't seem to appreciate it.  You don't know what burdens they may be carrying.  But it costs you nothing and allows you to be the best you that you can be.  Have a great weekend!  ***Hugs***
