Last night I had another bad night of sleeping but we didn't get Chewlee so it wasn't critical at all. I got up with the Beast as he dressed for his church meeting and bid him goodbye. I then dressed and went to the store to look for something I could make us for dinner that wouldn't require much work...in other words, I was in the frozen food section. I found some nice looking shrimp scampi and also picked up some crispy breaded fish from a popular company. I picked up a couple odds and ends and headed home in a heavy fog. Not fun!
By the time I got home, it was raining. But I grabbed my three little bags and got into the house without getting too wet. After putting everything away, I played games on my computer until the Beast got home. After making fresh coffee for us, I went back and played my games for a while. I felt a bit tired then so I shut down my computer and went to my recliner to watch a movie. I don't remember a thing until I woke up around 8:45pm to find the Beast in bed. So much for dinner!
I felt terrible about that and I got online to find out that Bratfink had been on YIM and left me a message that she had dropped by. Bummer! She wasn't online then so I talked with my son and then a girlfriend out in California that had celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary today. She had a nice gathering with around 35 people at a local restaurant and said she had really enjoyed herself AND the food. LOL! She said she was sorry I couldn't be there, too. So was I.
I then played a few games with two other friends of mine who do nothing but whisper chat. What a pain in the butt but what can you do. It's not like we talk about anything that's secret. But I suppose it could be boring for others in the room.
I then got offline for a bit and was darn near asleep again when I remembered I hadn't done my blog. I just KNEW you would be on pins and needles, wondering what had happened in my exciting life. Oh, sure you would!
It's still cold and raining here so it's not fun with it affecting both my TV and my internet connections. It's been kind of radical so I had to wait to do this blog anyway. But, it's still not a solid connection so I'm going to get this posted while I can.
Love you all. Hope your week is a good one. Remember to tell those that you love that you do every day if you can. Life is just too short. **Wink**
