We got an invite to have dinner with Dennis and Diane today. The Beast asked me if I felt up to it and I figured there was no reason not to go. We headed over there (it was nice out but I had dressed for cooler weather because of Weatherbug) around 5:30pm. I was amazed at all they had done to the house since the last time we had been there. Their patio area at the back of the house was just beautiful with it's wood flooring and the amazing grille and ovens, stainless steel, that they had installed. The exhaust fan over the area (also stainless steel) was 5,000 cfm. The Beast said that it was like the cfm's that a 5 ton air conditioner had.
Most of the house is decorated in black and white's with a touch of red for accent. The patio area, however, is in white with orange. The chairs for the table are a woven fabric in orange and are actually very comfortable to sit in. That was where we sat to eat dinner since the hot dogs were going to be grilled. I found out that Dennis likes his hot dogs charred like I do. It was a treat for me because most people are a bit reluctant to char their hot dogs. The meal also included both potato salad and cole slaw. Diane had a plate of onions, tomatoes, pickle slices, Italian peppers and relish. She put out three different types of mustard and some ketchup. She's a thorough hostess if nothing else. LOL!
At 8pm, after inspecting Dennis' hydroponic garden (which was a fantastic thing to see), our trek home (just across the street) was really chilly. I was glad I had dressed the way I had. The temperature had dropped almost 20 degrees from when we had left at 5:30pm. Brrr!
According to the weatherman and my Weatherbug, our high tomorrow will only be in the 40's. It will be several days before we get some nice warm weather again. *Sigh* Oh well. Love you all. I hope you have a great Friday and an even better weekend. ***Hugs***
