Chewlee came today for a sleepover. She was in a great mood and helped put away some things so she could put out all the clothes she had brought with her. She brought enough for two days but I will have to talk to the Princess tomorrow to see if that is okay with her. It's okay with the Beast and me but I told her we will have to see and it has to do with if she is good or not.
I also know she didn't bring her pills so I will have to find out about that from the Princess. I'm not sure Chewlee likes taking them but they do calm her down and she is able to concentrate then. The Princess told me that Chewlee is supposed to take one in the morning (she is in charge of that) and I don't think it's smart to leave it up to a child. If she doesn't like taking them, it's easy for her to NOT take them when Mommy is in bed and doesn't see. It DID cause a problem at school when she had stopped taking them. Her grades plummeted. After her punishment (she couldn't go anywhere for a couple weeks), she's taking them without fail. We have noticed that it makes a difference. She IS much calmer.
I had to make her put her pajamas on for bed time. She would have slept in her clothes otherwise. She was coughing but said her throat was dry so we put some ice water in her straw cup. I think that was what she wanted.....LOL!
It was a nice evening. Chewlee found some of the pictures she's drawn for me that I have kept that go back to when she was about four years old. She was amazed. But I am a grandmother...make that great-grandmother and I treasure those things. She will learn.
Love you all. I must go to sleep or she will be up all night and I know she's tired. She is usually in bed by 8 pm. Have a wonderful week. It's off to one of my doctor's tomorrow just as a follow-up. I discovered I don't get my staples out until next Monday. *Sigh* It will make it almost a month for these staples to be in. That seems like too much to me. But what do I know? ***Hugs***
