I ended up being up most of the night (Yes, FB was to blame...again!). I stayed up until after we had a late lunch and then grabbed a couple hour long nap. Now it's late again and I am tired. I made a comment on my FB page and then signed off after just browsing through a few of the first shared posts. I am totally BEAT!
The most exciting thing that happened around here was the Beast moving the front lawn this afternoon, after I woke up from my nap. It didn't take him long even though he used the regular lawn mower. He didn't have to do the lot next door to us (the one we own) so it went quickly. He always mows the front late in the afternoon when the combination of the house's shadow and the tall trees at the back of the house provide shade once the sun is lower in the western sky.
I talked to Mustachio today and he said that Sheepie had a major shock when they went out grocery shopping today. He spent as much buying food today as she and Teach probably did in a two month period. Of course, he was stocking up on a lot of things he might otherwise have just bought for just a couple days ahead at a time. He also said she was upset because her dog was following him around (he fed him some of his steak so of course the dog would!). Since I wasn't there, I'm not sure if her accusing him of trying to *steal* her dog was a joke or not but I suspect it was. Mustachio said the dog finally had his major shock of the move (the walk outside his place and not the home he was used to?). He said Sheepie's would probably take place tomorrow when she woke up and he was at work, leaving her alone. We'll see.
The Princess and Johnnycakes made a decision on the house they want to buy. As I suspected, it's the one with 10 acres of land and it's 30 minutes drive away *sob*. She described it in a lot of detail. I'm supposed to get Chewlee tomorrow and I'll get to hear what SHE thought about the house. Knowing her, she probably will love it if she ends up with a big bedroom. Plus, the idea that they might end up with horses there will appeal to her, too. That is, until she finds out how much work that requires that is NOT riding them.....LOL!
Time to get this posted. I am falling asleep here at my desk so I am begging off from adding a hint. Love you all. Be good and have a great week ahead. ***Hugs***
FB is a 'time suck'. You are going to have to learn not to read every single article or watch every video that everyone posts or you are going to have NO life!
ReplyDeleteI think that is what you tried to tell me once a long time ago. I wasn't really *into* checking FB at the time so I really had no clue. You are right about how it could end up just taking over your life. *Sigh* I really have to learn what to read, view and even comment on. I WANT TO LIVE!!!!! LOL.....
ReplyDeleteI know the stuff I post there won't be of interest to all my friends, but maybe one or two. Feel free to pass over the stuff I post that isn't specifically of interest to you. :)
