The Beast Still Not Feeling Well.....

I know most of this the Beast has been going through is because of the fact that he insisted on making the 12 hour drive back from Chicago in one jump.  He was homesick (yes, for his DOG...LOL) and almost fell asleep on the road.  He pulled over into a rest stop and took a nap, thank goodness.

Today has not been much better for him.  Although he was up longer, he is still sleeping because of a really bad headache.  He had one yesterday that was so bad, he could hardly stand to put his head on his pillow.  That scares me because he had a bad headache....one that wouldn't go away....just days before his first stroke.  The first one was the worst because it left him paralyzed on one side.  Forgive me if I am not sure this minute if it was right or left.  He was able to speak which means it wasn't a right brain stroke so it must be his right side (left brain, opposite side affected).  God, I hate getting old.

Anyway, I told him if it was still bothering him tomorrow he had to see either the doctor or hit the emergency room.  One or the other.

I'm still affected by sleep from the IV.  But at least I am not sleeping all day like I was after the first two or three of this new dosage.  All the nurses and my doctor say this particular antibiotic is very strong.  Let's hope it does the job because I sure as hell am going through hell with this.  And I still have another three weeks of it to look forward to besides.

It's actually warming up a bit...just a bit....from the last couple of days.  For instance, tonight the temperature is 44 at 4:30am.  That's just about as cold as it is going to get.  We have been down in the 20's most mornings and barely making 15-20 degrees higher during the day.  However, they are predicting cloudy and rainy and not much more than 50 degrees.  I'm not sure I believe that but who knows?  Maybe the weatherman will be right for a change.....LOL!

I hope you all are recuperated from celebrating the New Year since you will most likely have to return to work today.  Love you all and drive carefully.  Many areas have new snow on the ground.  Don't be a statistic.  **Wink**
