Well, This Sucks!

I wrote a whole blog yesterday talking about the Beast and his sudden attack of breathlessness.  I guess it disappeared into cyberspace and that really pisses me off!  I mean, if I take the time to write all about the Beast's drama (and he really DOES overplay it when he's ill) that it should make my blog.  Or is someone censoring this?  Hmm.  Makes me wonder.

Anyway, I tried to get him to let me take him to the hospital when he came into my computer room, gasping, and saying he couldn't breathe.  Funny how he seemed to catch his breath a bit when I started talking emergency room.  I even told him today that if it happens again (this is the third time in the past month or so), he needs to go to the hospital so they can find out what the hell is going on.  Is it an allergy?  Could he be allergic to Baron's dander since Baron sleeps right next to him (on the floor).  Maybe it's the accumulation of Baron's HAIR that is all over the darn bedroom, including on the bedspread and pillows.  He sneaks on the bed while we are busy elsewhere and even uses the Beast's pillows under his head.

Or could it be something worse?  The flu?  He's been feverish at different times and often goes into a round of coughing he can't seem to stop.  His appetite is *off* and I recognize when he is pushing himself.  He gives it away because he starts drinking tea.  He also starts eating peanut butter toast.  When he feels well, that will be his nighttime snack along with some hot chocolate.  But tea tells me he's not feeling well at all.  He is also falling asleep more when he's in his recliner.  All tell-tale signs that I recognize.

Last night I swathed his chest and back in Vaporub because of it's ability to open up the breathing passages and his sinuses.  It never fails to work.  I also gave him (at HIS request) some Benadryl.  I think he thinks it might be an allergic reaction.  I just wish we knew for sure but, until I can get *macho man* to the doctor's or the ER, we won't know for sure.

I am going to post this now before Chewlee gets here and hope it makes it this time.  I will finish my *Beware Of Free Samples* later today.  We've had a heat wave here today (it's 46 degrees out!) and it's supposed to get a bit warmer through the weekend.  That will be nice.  I hate the cold.  Love you all.  Stay warm and dry.  Be a careful driver.  There are a lot of idiots out on the roads!  **Wink**
