....mostly because my day was just so ordinary. Who wants to really hear about that? I am feeling bad for Gunner who is not just sick but is also cutting his first molar. Poor baby! And the Princess now is sick too. Johnnycakes is such a sweetheart...he brought her flowers to let her know he felt bad and wanted to cheer her up.
The Beast bought me a semi-expensive program to use to fix up my pictures. It's not Photo Shop...it's much easier to use. I tried it out and I can fix up complexions, size (crop) the pictures and even brighten the colors. It has more features than I am mentioning but I like having my own program to work with. He also gave me my own card reader so I am all set for any future pictures I take.
I didn't end up going to Cee's today because I got busy washing and folding clothes. I was also doing some sheets that I had stored for a couple years up in my attic. I was going to give them to the princess but decided that we need them now that we have two queen size beds in the house. BUT...I have a pretty and almost new Jaquard bedspread and shams in a pretty pink that I am going to see if she would like them. The Princess called me and told me that Cee and I could come over to see the new house any time we like. I figured it would probably be better if we wait until they have recovered...LOL. WE don't need to get sick, TYVM!
Did I mention that the Beast took Baron to the vet's office this morning? No..I didn't. I'm writing this in bits and pieces...sorry. The Beast said he showed the vet what we found and was embarrassed to watch the vet just grab it and pull it out...easy peasy. He had no idea that the stitches were the dissolving kind and that could be done. I told him that it was nothing to be embarrassed over. We just didn't want to take any chances. Since the vet didn't mention a LOT of things to us (like Baron almost dying due to a reaction to the anesthesia...AND going into convulsions!), I think he needs a little bit of tweaking! I may have to go and play the *bad* guy and ask the hard questions and make sure he's thorough in his explanations. I don't know why the Beast is so reluctant...honestly.
I waited for the postman today but didn't get whatever it was that my bff sent me so I guess it will get here tomorrow or Monday....whatever it is. If it's a Halloween card, I hope I get it tomorrow (it would be appropriate...LOL).
Time to get to bed...again! I hate this broken sleep but I understand it's pretty common. My poor sister, Bee, had eye surgery and has to spend the next few weeks with her head down towards the floor for 23 hours out of 24. She even has to sleep with a special *holder* for her head when she is in bed...which requires her to sleep on her stomach. But the choice is that or blindness in one eye. Say a little prayer for her that she gets through this and recovers. Her good eye is showing signs of the same problem so she may have to do this once more. Love you, Sis.
Love you all and remember this....you can't hug a memory so hug your loved one's NOW, while you can. Tomorrow isn't promised. ***Hugs***
