A Funny Thing I Discovered......

Did you know that you have to have access to the Internet to post?  Shocking, isn't it?  But last night I lost my Internet due to the bad weather.  We even got a bit of snow last night.  I think it was all the clouds and the wind that kept my Internet fading out on me so I finally gave up.

The Beast actually came into my computer room and turned on my baseboard heater!  It was the  wind that made him do it.  We actually had lots of heat on since the wind chill was down in the single digit area and could have dropped to the minus area.  The Beast doesn't mind cool but he does NOT  like COLD......LOL

I woke up this morning with a tummy ache for some reason.  Then I remembered this awful concoction the Beast bought us.  He enjoyed his half of a huge hamburger bun concoction but I only ate two or three bites and then it hit the garbage.  I usually hate wasting food but, to me, it was inedible.  Plus it had onion mixed in with it so I couldn't give it to Dennis.  I also didn't want the Beast to ever include me in another sandwich like he got so I told him to just count me out in any future picks of the same kind because it just didn't appeal to me.  I like my sandwiches to be of the more familiar kind.

Dennis was kind of funny today.  As a puppy, he has a lot of energy he needs to burn off so today he discovered that just running for the pure joy of it worked for him.  He also used some of his running around (at top speed) as scare tactics for the chickens.  It worked on the girls but Freddie stood his ground and didn't get excited at all.  That made Dennis stop dead in his tracks.  He went over to the chicken wire and barked but even that didn't faze Freddie.  Freddie scored 2, Dennis 0.   LOL

We are under another wind chill advisory tonight that extends until 9am tomorrow.  It's a whole 23 degrees out as I type this and we aren't at the coldest time of the night yet.  Wind chill is down to 15 degrees due to the wind gusts.  I'm just glad we don't have to go outside at all.

I am closing this now mainly because I have no idea if I am going to run into the same loss of Internet as I did last night.  Suffice it to say I am alive and well (no tummy ache) and my room is nice and warm.  I should sleep well since I haven't napped once again and that seems to be the key.  *Grin*

Love you all.  Stay warm and dry.  Stay safe and drive cautiously, please.  ***Hugs***
