A Happy And Healthy New Year To All.....

I want you all to know that I really DO wish the very best for my family and friends for the new year .  I want everyone to be happy and to be healthy, not just for this year but all the upcoming ones, too.

It was a strange day for us.  The Beast let Dennis out into the yard this morning so he could pee and whatever else he needed to do.  Typical for a labrador, he found a puddle and proceeded to have himself a bit of fun.  When he came back into the house, he was just one ball of mud.

The Beast and I decided he needed a bath.  As far as I knew, he had never had one...before today.  However, you would not believe how hard that darn dog fought against getting into the tub.  We tried, and I mean we tried HARD.  It was impossible to lift  him up even.  As proof, I have a wounded wrist that keeps on bleeding (I am on blood  thinners so it 's no surprise) plus I injured my left wrist (which is the one that I had broken and needed to have surgery to repair).  Luckily, I found the brace that I was given after my surgery.  I sometimes keep the strangest things that come in handy down the line.  

It makes it tough to write this blog because it's so painful to use the left hand and that's the one that I seem to use a lot, even in typing.  But it's not as painful right now as it was earlier today.   I may take the brace off when I go to sleep a little later.  I am watching the last of the Harry Potter movies that's been on the marathon for two days now.  One thing they did that surprised me was they actually dropped one of the movies out of the series.  I know why.  It centers around a character that everyone hates....LOL.  It may create a bit of confusion to a few people due to some of the story line not explained but, all-in-all, the important stuff is still there.

Well, time to get this posted as I finish up the Bailey's that my bff sent to me as a New Year's surprise.  Love you all.  Do me a favor and do a random act of kindness for a stranger and try not to let them know you did it.  You might have to think about that for a bit but it could be as simple as buying a hot cup of coffee for a homeless person.  ***Hugs***
