I have learned to appreciate days that are peaceful and quiet since I got older. Today it was really icky outside. Besides being cold and windy, it did nothing but drizzle most of the day. The Beast had to go outside every time he let the dog out to make sure he didn't get *involved* with another mud puddle.
That's one way that Dennis differs from Baron. He LOVES to go out in the rain. But Labs love water in any form....except for baths.....LOL. Dennis acts like the rain means nothing and he will just trot outside, pee or poop, and then come back into the house without even shaking himself. The Beast keeps a towel handy on days like today. He's learned quickly.
I decided to make this a pajama day and just stay in and stay warm. The Beast ran out to the store a couple different times for different reasons. He also went to the dealer to get MY key for the new Corolla. It ended up they made a brand new key for me because they couldn't find the second key. Since it's a 2017, they had to do it gratis.
I felt bad for the Beast because he went all the way to the courthouse to try to get the plates both re-registered to the new cars and, wouldn't you know it? Closed. So was the insurance office. He said he was batting 1000....LOL.
I checked on what the weather is supposed to be for the next couple days and it's all rain, rain, possibly snow but definitely rain, ditto, and then we get a day with sunshine! Not looking good as far as *I* am concerned. I love the sunshine. Of course, I prefer warm weather but colder weather is okay if the sun is shining.
I'm trying to heal my wounds from the attempt to bathe Dennis the other day. I slathered on some Triple Antibiotic cream and put a fresh bandage on the worst wound today. My wrist is much better, thank goodness. Had to be just a minor sprain (although it didn't feel minor). My hand is still swollen but that will pass once the muscles in it heal.
I'm tired for some reason or maybe it's just the feeling that it's my time to sleep for the winter (or hibernate, if you prefer). So I am going to close this for tonight. Sorry my life isn't exciting other than some of the things that the Beast pulls on me. Love you all. Stay warm. Be happy. ***Hugs***

Loves to play in mud.
And when you try to bathe him
He will draw your blood.
ROFL...thanks for the laugh, Sis. I'm still having to use Neosporin and a fresh no=stick pad on MY wound from that experience. I told the Beast not to even ask me to help again. I won't do it.
