I just love days when I feel good and it is a nice day besides. The weather was more like a good Fall day. It was actually very warm....74 degrees!
The Beast has become a fan of the Weather Tech liners....I guess that's what you would call them. They protect the rugs and floors in each car and they claim the liners are measured via lasers and I believe it. The ones he bought sure fit like they were made for the car. He bought a liner for the back of the new (2017) Toyota Corolla that he just bought. He also bought one for the back of my SUV (Honda), which also fits like a glove. He wants to buy ones to replace the carpet protectors for the Corolla but the car is so new that they don't have them for it yet. I can see how they protect the areas they are made for because of the way they fit in my car. The dog could be back there and we wouldn't get hair all over that can't really be vacuumed up completely.
The Beast bought a carrier for the cat, who needs to go in to the vet's for her shots. He had it on the floor with the door open but she just sniffed at it and didn't go in it. She seems to like sleeping on top of the dog's kennel so I told the Beast to put it there and she just might like trying it out. Sure enough, she's taken to sleeping in it. She won't freak out when he takes her in it now.
I was up again for most of the day. I didn't lay down and fall asleep until around 8pm. I slept nicely until 10:30pm and woke up to use the bathroom. The Beast was asleep by then and Dennis has managed to get on the bed without waking him and is asleep at his feet. LOL!
The Beast and one of his church friends went there today to change the filters on the air conditioners this afternoon. He was gone for almost two hours so it must be a real tough job to reach them. He's actually training the guy to take over that job since he's had some real challenges getting at the filters. He's accepted the fact that there are just some things he's not physically able to do some things that he could a year ago. His limp is also getting worse. It bugs him but he can't really do anything about it. His leg is the one thing that still causes him problems after his strokes.
Another of the home schooled kids from his church is having a graduation party soon. I told him he's got lots of time to *warm up* his camera because he will be expected to take pictures at it. He said he knew that and I'm not sure he really enjoys doing it when he is *expected* to do it. I told him that he shouldn't be surprised after all the times he volunteered to take pictures for darn near every event they had.
Today Dennis didn't do anything wrong. Nothing chewed at all except for the pig skin chew stick that he knows is his. For some reason, he really doesn't want to come into my computer room and stay unless the Beast is in here. I guess it's because I keep the door closed most of the time.
Well, I am heading for bed again to see if I can get some undisturbed sleep again. I'm just glad I feel *normal* again, whatever that is...LOL. Love you all. ***Hugs***
