I Finally Get Out Of The House.....

I've been suffering cabin fever for a while but today I got out and went to visit with Cee for a few hours.  We had a few good laughs because, as my sister, Bratfink, has said more than once....*You know you are old when you start talking openly about bowel movements!*    Yes, we actually did that.  Cee has had the opposite problem that *I* have, however.  But, we shared...LOL

It didn't seem like any time at all but, when I left to attempt getting home before the storm started, I was surprised to discover I had spent 3 hours there.  I've spent more time than that with Cee but it was that it just didn't SEEM like I had been there that long.

I did beat the storm home and, later, Cee called me to find out if we had been hit by any of the golf ball size and better hailstones.  It hit in Guntersville (I am close to it) and lots of damage was done to cars and such.  Holes in windows, windows totally out, etc.  If you have ever watched any of the storm chasers programs on the Weather channel, you know the kind of damage they can do.  What's scarier is that hail often is part of a storm with tornadoes in it.  But we got no hail here and very little rain.  But we could hear thunder and we saw lightning coming from the Guntersville area.  Our chickens don't mind rain but they run like hell when it thunders for the barn.  LOL

I  think my sleepiness yesterday was actually my body demanding rest because I haven't really been sleeping well.  Up and down all the time makes for lousy sleeping but the bathroom must be used!!  When I woke up this morning (around 7:30am), I felt really rested for the first time in more than a week.  Also, the dark circles around my eyes was gone.  Well, not entirely but it WAS a lot lighter in color.  I was looking like I had two black eyes.

I haven't showered yet but I will shortly.  It's going to be a warm night (a low of 64 degrees) and even warmer tomorrow than it was today (75 degrees).  By Monday or Tuesday, they are predicting 80 degrees!  But I don't want to believe that Spring might really be starting.....not yet.  The weather is so weird all over the country that we could still be hit by cold weather again.

Nothing much else has gone on here today.  I spent the afternoon watching movies I have seen multiple times but that's not unusual.  I like a lot of movies that I watch over and over until I wear them out (my DVD's).  I'm on my second replacement set of Tremors (except for the most recent one...which is the fifth movie).  I had no idea that DVD's could actually get worn out.

Goodnight to you all.  Sweet dreams and a great day is my wish for everyone.  ***Hugs***
