HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

I spent the day with my sister, Cee and I really enjoyed our time together.  It was a long day but it seemed to pass quickly.  At one point, we both laid down and took a nap for about an hour and a half then got up and watched *Big Bang Theory* for a while.  We were both tired and didn't even try to make the trip down to the lake to watch the fireworks.  At least the weather was clear and no rain to spoil the evening or the fireworks.  I DID tell the Beast, however, that it was the traffic around Civitan Park that made us realize we were both too tired to fight the traffic that would result after the fireworks were over.  Let the kids enjoy.  We *old folks* need our rest.

I did forget to get my French vanilla creamer out of Cee's fridge when I left.  I'm going to miss that in the morning.  I have no idea when she and I will get together so I can get it from her.  She had her own in her fridge.  Makes sense that she would since she is the one that got me started on that stuff....LOL.

I called my kids to wish them all a Happy Fourth of July and also called my granddaughter, Sheepie.  I had to leave a message on her voice mail since she was probably texting someone or other but she also must have gone to someone's house for a Holiday barbeque.  She's very social.  She also likes to help out any way she can so she's usually very welcome at any gathering, I'm sure.

I was telling Cee about the Harry Potter/Hogwarts website I just found out about (Pottermore.com) and she wanted to let Tristan, Tara's son, know about the site.  She thinks he might enjoy it since he is a Harry Potter fan.  I think most kids that have seen the movies are.  They all would love to be able to do REAL magic like Harry and his friends but then wouldn't we all?  LOL!

When I got home, the Beast was already in bed but not asleep.  I was just ready to try to call him on his cell phone because I thought he might have been at one of his friends from church that live here in our little community.  The other car was here so I figured he wasn't far away.  He surprised me when he came out of our room since I had looked in there but didn't see the bump in the bed.

He had kept himself busy by cleaning the rest of the guest room furniture from the film that had developed on it over the years.  Some of it was furniture polish and some of it was the dirt it attracted that stayed behind.  It all looks like brand new now.  Amazing what some soap and water will do.

Well, I am tired and heading for bed now.  Love you all and I hope everyone had a great Fourth.  ***Hugs***

HINT:  Fruit flies are always a pain, because they usually hover over fruit baskets and other areas where you don't want to spray poisonous bug spray.  Instead, spray a little rubbing alcohol on them.  They'll fall to the floor (or counter top) and you can scoop them up and throw them away.
