I really thought I had gotten all my Christmas shopping done and just had to wait for it to be delivered. But, as I ran over it in my mind, I felt I was missing someone. Then it hit me. I was. Oh chit! BUT...thankfully, it's someone that won't be a problem to buy for. *Phew!* Now I just have to buy, little-by-little, the means to wrap it all....LOL. A relatively minor problem.
I guess I am going to have to do some more wash tomorrow. I've been using my really warm jammies up and the ones left are not really warm enough to suit me. Not unless I put my long underwear on underneath them. I didn't really realize that most of my winter jammies really depended on having the heat on in the house all the time. Unfortunately, the Beast hasn't hit that part of winter yet and he never did fill up our propane tank (the big one) that we use for our fireplace. At least when we used that the first thing in the morning, it kept the house pretty warm the rest of the day. Right now, all it is is a big dust catcher.
My electric blanket helps but it does shut itself off after several hours and, unless the cold wakes me, I end up shivering but not if I am in my warm jammies. So it's best for me to wash and not have to worry about that....LOL. Especially since the weather channel is saying that the cold heading our way is going to be the coldest that has hit our area in more than 50 years. Yikes!
My new favorite scent of candle is the Yankee candle scent called Autumn wreath. It smells even better than it smelled before I lit it. Of course, it's in a 10x12 room that has the door closed so the scent really does fill the air. In a larger area, you would have to burn several (and the candles are NOT cheap!) but....if you want a truly nice smell to fill the air, I recommend it. I am just glad I can indulge my little bit of pleasure thanks to my bff.
Well, time to get some more rest. I am yawning to beat the band. Love you all. Be good. Stay warm. ***Hugs***
