I Really Think I Could !!

After having another mostly sleepless night, I found myself burrowing underneath my heated blanket and sleeping soundly as it was getting light outside.  I slept for almost four hours and had to finally get up  to use the bathroom (of course!).  This house was cold because the Beast, as usual, didn't have any heat on and it was just 44 degrees outside.  I thought I would get dressed in some warm clothes and I did but I was shaking with cold so I crawled underneath my blanket to warm up and ended up falling asleep again.

So you don't worry, I DID make myself some eggs and toast for breakfast and some coffee but it required me to be in the house proper.  That was cold so I brought my food into my computer room where I had turned on my heaters to keep my area warm.  I was still suffering from very cold hands and was shivering a bit so I got under the warm covers to fix that but fell asleep.  This was just about what my day was like.  The Beast did, finally, turn on the baseboard heaters to take the chill out of the house but he is much more concerned about paying an electric bill than how comfortable the people in the house are.  I would rather he spent the money on the electric bill than keep buying some of the useless stuff he DOES buy!  If only.......

I decided that I could almost be a hibernating human once it gets cold.  It's just hunger and having to use the bathroom that spoils that for me...LOL.  But I truly don't like to feel cold at all.  I love to eat homemade soups during the winter...of all different kinds.  Bean, veggie, chicken, potato...you name it, I'll give it a try!  As long as it's HOT soup.

Today the *stuff* that would last me though the Holidays from my bff got here.  More candles!!  Balsam, one named Hot Buns and another named Autumn Wreath that smells wonderful.  The Hot Buns one smells like cinnamon rolls...*grin*.  She also sent me a gift card.  She SAID that Christmas was coming early for me and she meant it.  I am just very jazzed over all of it.  It's just so sweet of her to think of me and treat me so wonderful.  I just wish we lived close enough to each other to visit and give hugs in person.

Time for bed now.  Love you all.  ***Hugs***
