Just Lazy.....

I took the day off yesterday and was just lazy.  It was really cold out so I crawled under my electric blanket, watched TV and napped while I stayed warm and toasty.  I think I needed that anyway because it seems my cold is better.  At least I feel better and that's what counts.

It did take me a while to warm up my computer room so that it was comfortable for me but I turned the baseboard heater up to max and the little desk top one, too.  My feet get so damn cold once the outside temperatures drop and that's the main reason I stayed under the electric blanket so much.  It was only 34 degrees for our HIGH.  Last night, the last time I checked Weatherbug, it said it was 28 degrees and felt like 23.  Trust me, I believed it.  Although it's early and the sun is up and shining, the outside temperature right now is just 24 degrees.  I don't even want to know what the low was for last night.  LOL!

 I am glad that Dennis and Sassy seem to have gotten friendlier but the way they play is hilarious.  Sassy bops his nose with her paws and he *talks* to her.  It's almost like he's saying *Will you please stop doing that?* and then he licks her face and any part that she lets him before she bops him again.  It surprised me that he was licking her but he does love to lick.  I guess you would call it his way of kissing us because he sure does like to lick our faces, too.

I love when the two of them lay down on the little area rug together to nap.  It surprises me that she hasn't been sleeping in his kennel with him at night.  She lays on the rug just outside the door of the kennel with her head near his.  Which is a shame because the pad in his kennel is nice and thick and has to be warmer than the thin rug on the wood floor in the bedroom.

Well, I need to get dressed and decide what I am going to do today.  I could wash some clothes but I'll decide after I get dressed and see how I feel.  I do need to make it to either Walmart or Aldi's today.  I want to make a nice stir-fry meal and I need more veggies.  Or maybe I'll just make a list and give it to the Beast....LOL.  I hate going out in the cold....and we haven't even had any snow!
