Since the pup isn't quite over his chewing stage, when the Beast goes to church, it keeps me on my toes with having to watch him closely. Today, it suddenly occurred to me, that it might actually be the fact that he doesn't have the TV on and it's too quiet for him. That alone might make him miss the Beast even more. So, I turned on the TV for him and, guess what? He laid down next to the Beast's recliner and went to sleep. No anxiety at all. Hmmm.
Could it really be that simple? I kept checking on him but he didn't even twitch. At least, not until the Beast pulled the car into the garage, then he was up like a shot and at the door to greet him. I'm not going to consider this the solution but it bears some more tries to see if it continues to work. You just never know what will work and what won't.
The Princess stopped by for a bit with Gunner so I got to see my baby doll for a bit. I turned on cartoons for him and got to give him lots of neck kisses and hugs. He is such a sweetheart. He came back twice to get more before he and his mother left. I gather she was on her way to the hair dresser's but I didn't ask her what she was having done. I sure hope she doesn't cut it again. It is so long and gorgeous right now. I just wish my hair didn't grow so slowly. I'd let it grow....at least for a while.
This is going to be a short post. I'm tired and want to get some sleep and I still have to shower. I'm glad I didn't realize until today that the big drop in local temperatures weren't going to happen until this weekend (gotta pay closer attention to that stuff). Even the Beast thought it was going to happen sooner so it's not just me. My computer room is nice and toasty right now and I am feeling very comfortable. Even my feet don't feel too cold but that's also because the Beast turned on the central heat for a while.
Love you all. Be good. Stay warm. Get that shopping done now. It's almost Christmas! ***Hugs***
