Poor Baby Brat has a lot of issues to deal with since she had all her little mini-strokes that left her memory impaired. Her short-term memory is really impaired a lot and she forgets things she has done in just a few hours sometimes.
Today Sister Cee called to ask the Beast about what she had to do to get Baby Brat online. Turns out she had actually gotten most of the problem resolved when she had deleted all the incredible programs that Baby Brat had downloaded but didn't remember doing. Sister Cee knew they weren't things that Baby Brat ever used. There were still problems but she managed to get the computer online, finally, and the Beast suggested that she call Marcus Aurelius for more advice. Marcus is kind of the family expert on software problems. But he didn't have his phone number so he told her to call me for that since I DO talk to him on occasion (and visit him, too).
After I gave her his #, we just talked family stuff for a bit since I don't always include some of the things she wants to know in this blog. She made me promise to call her more often and I did. It's simple as hell but I just don't think about it since I know she reads my blog. I feel like we are keeping in touch even though it's not the same. Oh well. Call me an idjit.
Since this is about family, I have to mention that I haven't seen Bratfink online the past couple of days....well, four days. That always makes me worry about her. But, since I have spent most of the past three days sleeping, how could I have even if I had had my computer up? If it hadn't been for a prayer request I received from her yesterday, I would have thought her internet was down. But, what worries me is that she wasn't feeling all that well the last time we talked. I guess it's time to make that phone call I hate to because I know Sheldon pays by the minute for his phone. But, if I find out she's okay, I will let you know.
Although I slept late today, I DID spend most of it in an upright position. I really have to stop staying up so late at night when I do that. I end up paying for it with *catch-up* sleep eventually. I was kind of glad that the Beast let me sleep this time. I woke up just for the bathroom and to grab a bite to eat then back to *ZZZZZZ's*. I knew I was tired because I DID fall back asleep so quickly. Learn from me....do not get so interested in anything online that you look at the clock and suddenly realize it's 3 or 4am! Set an alarm or something so you get your butt to bed at a decent time! At my age, I need my sleep....LOL! Bad enough that I will wake up at 5am at times and turn on my computer, only to end up talking to a friend who has ALSO gotten up early and turned on her computer. We finally talked about this today and promised no more talking for an hour or more. Now let's see if we keep that promise. LOL!
It was really great weather today. I sat outside for about an hour, just enjoying the warmth (it was 69 at the time) and the fresh air. Baron ran around outside for a bit but, with the way he haunted the fence between our neighbors yard and ours, I knew he was missing Bozo. I was sorry the new neighbors didn't have a dog just because of that. Our weather will improve (temperature included) every day until Tuesday of next week according to our forecast. Then, guess what? Sleet. Yeah, you read that right...sleet. AND a drastic drop in temperature along with that or we couldn't have sleet. YUK! If sleet does show up, it will mean the kids here will have had more snow days off in all the time we have lived here. We just don't have the kind of weather this year has supplied.
Love you all. Be good. Be careful. ***Hugs***
