Today we had really great weather. It was 62 for our high, which actually came fairly early in the afternoon. It started warming up in leaps and bounds this morning. Even before the sun had risen, our temperature went up rapidly from the low of 36 that I saw when I got up to use the bathroom and decided to stay up. I keep an active Weatherbug on my desktop so I saw that when I turned on my computer at 6:30am.
It was bright but slightly overcast but, as the mornng progressed, the sun came out in all it's glory. Our neighbor, Dennis, got to pour the concrete for his patio area in what will be the front of his house. He was anxious to get that done and our weather has been so weird lately that he kept having to put it off until he was almost tearing his hair out. I actually saw him smile and make a joke or two today.
I had another quiet day, personally. I just made us some lunch...BLT's. Baron was going nuts and kept trying to find out where I was stashing the bacon so his hose was on the counter A LOT. I guess it's true. Dogs really DO love bacon. But he didn't get any. Darn dog is heavy enough without becoming a FAT big dog.
The Beast noticed that one of the tumors that Baron has is growing larger. They've both been biopsied and they are just fatty tumors but Baron is protecting that side again from coming in contact with the floor or being touched when he's being bathed. So the Beast, although he hates the thought since ANY surgery is dangerous for an animal, is finally going to see about having both tumors removed. That's his buddy....his best friend....so he's afraid of losing him before his time.
After making lunch, it was more folding clothes for me. Not because I did washing but because my pajama drawer had become a mess. I got that much done then cleaned off my dresser top which had been kind of neglected. It all looks nice now but this house gets so dusty for some reason. Probably from all the construction right across the street but that can't be helped. Oh well! Love you all. Hope you enjoyed your President's Day today. **Hugs**
