Today Brat Farm Was More Like Sleepy Hallow....

I actually spent most of the day sleeping.  Honest!  I have no idea why except for this miserable cold that has been trying to come down with me.  I know its not the removal of my valve.  That has been pure pleasure since I can now take a shower.  Yay!

I DID get up long enough to eat and I even managed to play a couple games on Yahoo plus I got to talk to Bratfink.  I think we were both suffering from sleepy-itis.....LOL!  So there really isn't a lot to tell you today except that I DID speak with my friend, Caro, from California.  She is sending a blanket she made for the Princess' baby.  She said she made it with no one in mind and it's in blue, green and a touch of yellow.  Perfect!  It's crib size so I think the Princess will be able to use it easily.  You can't have enough, let me tell you.  I remember that from when I had my own kids.

We are under a Winter Storm alert here that will start around 6pm they claim.  A mix of rain and sleet.  No fun.  Chewlee will be disappointed.  She really wants to build a snowman.  She drew me pictures of how she would make it, including using rocks for the eyes.  She wasn't sure what she would use for the nose but she was going to use branches for the arms and her scarf around it's *neck* that isn't really a neck (her words).  But it means bad driving weather.  The Beast went to the store and got more milk, coffee, creamer, some meat for dinners and more of the stuff for the dog's meals.  Just in case.  He doesn't want to drive in it any more than anyone else with a lick of sense.

Love you all.  Have a great week, hopefully.  Drive carefully, stay warm and dry.  **Hugs**
