Today was one of those days when my body MADE me rest. Too much experimenting, perhaps? I just know that it kept me down and out for most of the day and I am still feeling tired like I need to get back to bed. But I am forced to listen to what it tells me and do what I must in order to heal. I definitely want to heal....and as quickly as I can.
Got a note from my friend Carol that said she had been notified that my surprise was shipped from New York today and should get here either Thursday or Friday. She won't tell me what it is she sent me so I will just have to wait and see. She can make me nuts sometimes with her idea of fun. She just loves to keep me in the dark. LOL!
The Beast was a bit on the lazy side today. He didn't realize that he forgot about feeding us dinner. He can eat sweet snacks and be happy as long as his stomach is full. But I like real food, not his cakes, pies and ice creams.
He bought some pistachio frozen yogurt by mistake the other day (has WAY too much of an almond taste for me) and he just loves it even though it wasn't ice cream. He really isn't a yogurt fan but this doesn't taste like yogurt to me at all. Maybe that's just why he likes it. I happen to like yogurt.....REAL yogurt.
It's 12 degrees outside (wind chill is a *feels like minus 2 degrees*). And, mind you, it's just a few minutes after 9pm so the temperature is heading down, down, down from here. The Beast went to bed a little bit ago so he could keep the bedroom toasty warm. He even covered up Baron because he worries about the cold that comes up from the floor. Baron has two nice pillow type beds stacked up to sleep on so he's not suffering at all....LOL.
Well, I am heading for bed, too, in a few minutes. Just talking to Mustachio before we both hit the sack. It's 10pm where he lives and he has to get up around 5 am or so for work. He worked late tonight (got the bad house he was worried about getting) and it was the only one he worked on all day. Figures. But, after multiple techs had been there and not been able to figure out how to get it going, at least he got the woman's system up and working for the family. He says she was thrilled. But it took him almost 12 hours. At least she tipped him $20.
Love you all. Please, please, please be weather conscious and dress appropriately. Watch how long you are out in sub-zero wind chills. Drive carefully. ***Hugs***
