Today the Beast bought us lunch at Wendy's. He went hoping to buy some taco salad (they made the best!) but didn't see it on the list and the place was so damn busy he didn't want to ask about it. So he got us some of their chili (also good) and got me an Asiago Spicy Chicken sandwich.
I had seen the ads for it but had never tried it. He knows I like spicy so that's why he got it for me. I will admit that I was not quite prepared for just how spicy it is but, after a few bites, the sting went away and it was delish! The bun was different and also very good. If you like spicy chicken, give it a try.
I have a cold sore for the first time in many, many years. Not a large one and it actually seems to be fading away once I used some of this Carmex stuff on it. It stayed small (but sore). It's almost gone now, thank goodness.
Know all that spam you get in your email? Let me tell you, I finally got so disgusted with it all that I took a couple hours and unsubscribed to each and every one of them. I had never subscribed to some of them so they had to be associated affiliates of ones that I HAD subscribed to. I was so pissed off about the sheer number that I just couldn't stand it any more. So, one-by-one, I unsubscribed to each of them. Let me tell you, it was well worth the time I spent. Ever since, my emails are now NOT filled with what I called spam. Especially my Yahoo email. That was the absolute WORST. Now, I checked it today and had just six emails....all expected.....instead of the usual 40 or so that showed up on a daily basis. If I missed checking my email for any reason (like when I was ill/hurt), it was a joke how many would accumulate. It would take me an hour to just delete them.
So, if you have the same problem, take the time to unsubscribe to each one you do NOT want showing up on a daily or even weekly basis. I can handle my emails now and don't shudder every time I think about checking it. *Grin*
I'm thinking about asking the Princess for my Chewlee this next weekend. I haven't spent any real time with her since Christmas eve at Tara's house. I was in a lot of pain then because I was fairly new on my crutches and it was a real chore getting into Tara's house and even getting out. I did spend some time with Tonto though and found him to be very different from the last time I had seen him. But my Chewlee is the apple of my eye because she loves me the way she does. She likes to spend time here with me and we get to play games online together. I have a couple of the hidden object games that need doing that I have saved for her. She can spend hours doing those and she is really good at them, too. She surprises me at times how quickly she spots some of the objects.
Well, time to get this posted. Love you all. New work week coming up so drive carefully. Hope you don't get much snow or really cold weather. But keep warm, dry and be good. ***Hugs***
