Like I've Said Before, Some Days Are Better Than Others....

Today was kind of another boring day but I decided to watch TV and crochet a bit.  I managed to find a couple of interesting programs (well, semi-interesting since I fell asleep).  Do NOT fall asleep while crocheting.  Each time I would wake up, I had to find my crochet needle and then do counting to find out where I had left off.  I ended up pulling out several rows of crocheting due to miscounting here and there.  It was maddening so I finally put up the crocheting for the day.

The Beast decided we were having a nice big breakfast/lunch that he wanted to prepare to surprise me.  I let him, of course and he DID surprise me.  He made us scrambled eggs with onions (which I happen to love), bacon, toast and a mix of fresh cut bananas and the strawberries I cut up yesterday.  It was fantastic!  Hit my spots and really filled me up.  So much so that I really wasn't hungry at dinner time.  We both just kind of snacked.  He bought some vanilla pound cake and whipped cream so we could eat the strawberries but I was even too full for that.  I figured I would have some if I got hungry later.  But my peanut butter sandwich has tided me over so far.

It was a bit warmer today and the Beast didn't want Baron knocking over waste baskets or digging in the garbage for coffee filters again so he took Baron out for his run.  He almost turned around because the yard where Baron has been doing his duty had the owner there doing some repairs.  He didn't want the owner to see that so he was going to turn around and bring Baron back towards the house when the Baron's buddy started his sad refrain so Baron leaped ahead (not stopping to relieve himself, thank goodness) and ran up to the fence.  So they did their running up and down the fence line for a bit until the Beast finally called Baron away.  By then, they both were cold but Baron came home much happier.  No garbage digging or waste basket knocking over....LOL.

Dennis came over to visit the Beast for a bit.  He was checking to see how the Beast's eye is doing (so-so) and to just generally be happy that Fox is back on Dish.  I told them both it would be back but they never listen to me.  Now, suddenly, there's no more talk about leaving Dish.  Go figure!  At least my worries are over.

It's late but it's a lot warmer outside (but not warm by any means) than I thought it would be.  It's 45 degrees out and isn't supposed to get any colder than 39 but who knows?  Weather forecasting is NOT an exact science.  It's okay but not always correct.  So we shall see.  If it warms up tomorrow like it did today, it will be a surprise to me.  It's not predicted to be and I believe it just because of watching the radar on the news.  I may not be a weather person but if they had said it would be warm again, I would have called them liars.  The radar says cold weather being swept to our area.  Brrrr!

Love you all.  Stay warm and dry.  I'll be hanging out here at the house again but I have plans for Monday.  Tuesday is the doctor.....yuk.  Be good.  ***Hugs***
