No, he didn't buy anything. It was the dinner he made for us. It was pepper crusted filet mignon. I wasn't really sure I would like it at first but I DO like pepper. However, this was wonderful. He made it just right (MR) and served it with fresh, sliced tomatoes and cottage cheese. I was in heaven for about a half hour or so. Trust me, I did NOT rush. I savored every bite.
I don't think I mentioned it but he's using that invection cooktop almost exclusively now. It just cooks everything faster and even sears the steaks with it's special pan. The water, even in the kettle, boils so quickly that it almost takes your breath away. It's amazing.
I had to compliment the chef a couple times because I really enjoyed dinner immensely. He had made me promise not to come out of my computer room while he was preparing our dinner. I had no idea what the menu was but told him *as long as it's not something sweet*. He said no it wasn't so I was relieved. He loves his sweet-sour chicken WAAAAAAY too much and has no idea that I often have to dump most of it in the garbage or end up sick. It's not something you should feed to a diabetic. Especially his because it leans more towards sweet than sour.
I wanted to go over to the Princess' house today but was just too tired after another night of oft interrupted sleep to use the bathroom. So I'll do it tomorrow since I am heading to bed shortly after posting this. I'm tired so I shouldn't have any trouble sleeping and I cut down on my liquids a couple hours ago. LOL! Like a little kid.
My online friends finally got married today. They called me after the deed was done. I called my friend, Carol, to let her know so we could be happy together for them. We did meet them around the same time. They refer to us as *the Aunties*....LOL.
A surprisingly warm day today and they say the same tomorrow. It was around 55 today and the same tomorrow. Baron was in 7th heaven because the Beast took him out on a run with the scooter. He hates when the day is too cold for it. He'll mope around the house, making heavy sighs and snorts. Too funny.
Love you all. Be good. Hope you are having a good week despite the snow and cold. ***Hugs***
