(THE BLOG WON'T LET ME ENTER A TITLE)

When the Beast came home from yet another sojourn with his church group, I grabbed a dozen eggs for Cee and headed over there.  She and I discussed the Beast's plans for going to Chicago and I found out something the Beast hadn't told me.

#1-the only reason he planned on going was because two people from his church were going up there for a wedding.  That meant that he wouldn't have to do all the driving since the husband (and the wife) could all take turns.

#2-He had already talked to his sister about the couple staying with her while they were up there.  Since they all belong to the same church, that was an easy decision for his sister.

#3-He had already talked to his brother about staying with him and his brother was happy to do it.  They enjoy each others company so there was another easy decision.

When he originally talked to me about this, he made it seem like he wasn't really sure just when he would go but that wasn't true.  It pissed me off a bit because he told Cee about his plans but not me.

However, Cee and I decided that we would have a sleepover one night while he's gone.  We'll indulge ourselves with some peel-and-eat shrimp and whatever else we decide to do.   Since we enjoy just spending time together, it will be a treat for us, especially without the Beast.

When I got home, I made us chicken fried steak, some gravy and a baked potato.  I also sliced up a tomato from the Princess' garden.  It all tasted good and I loved how the breading on the steak was nice and crispy but the steak was tender.

I watched TV in my recliner and, of course, fell asleep.  I guess I was more tired than I thought because I slept for five hours before the need to use the bathroom woke me up.  I'm still tired so, after I post this, I am heading back to bed.  I don't want to still be up when the sun comes up.

Love you all.  Be good.  Be careful in this heat and stay hydrated.  ***Hugs***
