Today was just fantastic! The temperature hit 73, plus it was sunny and no breeze. The Beast started cutting the lawns even. It was that kind of day. He ran up to Lowes and bought some pansies that we planted in the half barrel next to the driveway. Now if only my bulbs get here that I ordered. We can then get the flower bed planted because I really think the danger of frost may be over and the ground temperature is above 46 degrees now.
I even put my exhaust fan into the window of my computer room. I love the fact that I can reverse the fan direction at any time I want. When I really feel the need for fresh air, I can have it. To keep the air moving through the room, I just turn it on. When I go to bed, I just turn it off for the night.
I have to go to Walmart tomorrow since I didn't do it today to pick up wrapping paper, ribbon, tissue and some bags for the presents that Carol has had sent here for the Princess' shower in a few weeks. I need to see if I can find some gift boxes, too, since a few of these things should be boxed and wrapped, too. I can't believe this woman's generosity! Just because she has no grandchildren of her own. I told her she was more than welcome to *adopt* mine because we believe that love should be shared. She now calls herself the *stand-in* granny. LOL!
I will admit the fact that I spent a lot of the day napping, off and on. This not sleeping well at night is really getting to me. Especially with summer approaching. Plus we will have to clear out the vegetable boxes and get those planted soon. I need to be awake and aware for that. I usually have the energy.....when I get some decent sleep. The bladder urges don't help either even tho' I have cut down on my liquid intake at night. **Sigh** I just can't win.
Oh well. Love you all. Hope your week has gotten off to a good start. ****Hugs****
