A Weird Sunday And A Busy Monday

I apologize for missing you on Sunday but between the company and the Beast constantly calling me to give him a hand planting some things in our various planters (the decorative ones), by the time dinner was eaten, I was just about whipped.  I fell asleep and (surprise!) slept all night.  So I figured I would just tell you that much and then talk about today.

Because of sleeping all night, or perhaps despite it, I had what you would have to call a fairly normal day today.  The Beast and I did a Spring Cleaning of the house.  I can tell you this much...it no longer smells like dog...LOL.  The Beast cleaned the rug in the guest room and the big rug underneath Baron's bedding.  Then the bedding went into the washer, dryer and a final airing in the sun.  I swept the living room and kitchen areas.  Then I dust mopped and the Beast washed the floors.  I should say mopped the floors.  It's not like he got down on his hands and knees...LOL.  He also finally put up a metal sculpture that I love on the wall in the guest room.  I've only been waiting darn near a year for that to happen.  It looks good.  Now I just need to get a few pictures up and that's done.

I vacuumed my rug, cleaned the cobwebs out of the closet (they really bugged me once I spotted them) and cleaned up a couple spots on the carpet in my computer room.  Then I FINALLY installed my new dvd player.  Well, almost installed it.  It has a few serious programming issues that I have to deal with before I can keep it plugged in all the time.  It wants to keep taking over my TV even if there's no disc in it.  Oh well!

We had to buy a runner throw rug for in front of the dresser because of Baron.  Even after cleaning the rug, it obviously needs another cleaning in that area.  The rug is to prevent Baron from making it any worse.  But it's an attractive rug and I like the way it looks so we will keep it there, I think.

Our day was as warm as predicted and Dennis finally pulled his RV out of the barn.  He's kept it in there all winter because it helped keep it warmer than it would have been outside.  When they had the RV custom built, he didn't think about insulation being necessary because their intention was to move from warm state to warm state during the winter.  They never thought they might tire of the RV life.  I told the Beast that, once they are all settled into their new house, I will bet they head out to Texas or Arizona or California during the winter.  That will be different than living in it all the time.

Love you all.  Hope your weather improves, too.  ***Hugs***
