I slept well...thankfully...but woke up with a back that was still sore from the abuse of those damn hospital mattresses and some soreness in my left leg. That was to be expected, I guess, after all the abuse it took...LOL! I was told to do more walking today than the day of my release from the hospital. So, I did. I got up more often than I really wanted to and walked, even if it was just out to check on how much coffee was left in the coffee pot. But I got up. I even went out into the garage to get some dog food in the can to bring into the house so it would warm up a bit before being fed to Baron. That's not usually a job entrusted to me by Baron's man (LOL!) but I figured he would get over it. The man, not Baron. I don't think he really cares as long as he's fed.
I think I figured out where the stent was put into my left leg. I swear I can feel it. I'll ask the doctor when I see him tomorrow/today but if it's not where I think, I will be surprised. It's only because it's a bit sore in this one area. That can be from the stretching via that balloon catheter, of course, but it's an awfully confined area. I mean, I can almost trace the measurement. But I shall see.
I finally had to give in and take another pain pill today. But at least this time I took the small dosage pill and not the heavy hitter one. Which reminds me....Mustachio informed me that he is actually starting to feel a little less pain after his last session with his physical therapist. He's not out of pain by any means but he IS starting to see some benefit to all the torture he's endured....LOL! He's anxiously awaiting being called into the neurologist's office to get his nerve pathways traced out so they can find out which nerve/nerves are being pinched off on him and causing the majority of pain that he's going through. He had to call off his road trip down here because he was told to hold himself in readiness to be called in as soon as they could clear enough time for him...and if a patient cancels an existing appointment, it could happen quickly. I can't blame him for that but I was a bit disappointed. But it will happen....probably later rather than sooner. But only time will tell.
The weather today was awesome. Our high was 73, which surprised us since it started out in the 40's this morning and stayed fairly warm well into the evening. More of the same until Monday but I'll take it. Wouldn't you? I was hoping my flower bulbs would be here today but guess I can't hope for them to get here earlier than Saturday no matter what. Time enough. The ground hasn't been warm enough all that long. And these are not really bulbs for Spring flowers so much as early to mid-summer ones. Chewlee will love helping to plant them, regardless.
Guess I will post this and get some sleep. My doctor's appointment is for early tomorrow morning and I don't want more bags under my eyes than average. I wish everyone a really fantastic weekend. Love you all! ****Hugs****
