After the busy day we had the other day during our Spring cleaning, both the Beast and I needed time to recuperate. We have great bursts of energy now and again but nothing we can sustain for any length of time. If we push ourselves like we did the other day, we must pay the piper by resting for a couple days afterward. Sad. It's a sign that we really ARE getting old. **Sigh** I hate to admit that.
Like I said, even the Beast found himself resting and taking a bath for his aching muscles. I put my back brace on for a few hours just to give it a rest from some of the spasms I was having. I knew that was going to happen. I did, at least, also accomplish the final wrapping of gifts for the shower, which required me to get myself into positions that were not comfortable. And getting up from the floor is always a sight to behold....LOL
Today was not a nice day. It was drizzling and overcast for most of the day. It brightened up a bit during the afternoon when it also warmed up to right around 68. I keep watching Baron and he, too, is showing his age. For a doberman, he's hit middle age now and will, hopefully, calm down just a bit more. Not that he's old, by any means, but he's like a man in his 40's. I have no idea how the Beast will react when that dog dies, if he dies before the Beast does. He will truly be bereft. But that goes both ways. Baron would probably just die from grief. They are THAT attached.
I am going to head to bed early so that I can have another *normal* day...I hope. I like not being up all night with having to use the bathroom every couple hours. I'm drinking less coffee during the evening and it DOES help....a bit. But I like waking up early and being able to plan lunch and dinner even if I don't really wake up fully until about noon...LOL.
Love you all. Tomorrow should be sunny and in the 70's. I sure hope so. I want to sit outside and drink my coffee again. Hope your *hump day* is a good one. ****Hugs****
