About My Birthday *Celebration*

As I mentioned earlier, I had to go to the hospital for some tests on my legs.  I knew there was some kind of blockage in my left leg and, sure enough, I knew by the girl's faces (the ones conducting the test) that they were worried.  Instead of just letting me go home when they were done, they had me wait.  I knew they were talking to my doctor.....that's how worried they were.

When they came out to tell me the doctor wanted me to go to his office right then, I knew he was going to check the pulse again (he did...with a dopler detector) but he (and I) both heard a faint pulse.  I told him his face had given him away two weeks ago when I saw him last and he decided I needed to take these tests today.

End result?  Some *pictures* and then probably a roto-rooting again.  I was a bit bummed out even though I expected this so I stopped at WalMart for some wine to celebrate my birthday.  When I got home, I told the Beast what had been found and what the doctor expected.  His nurse will make the appt. for the pictures (probably a sonagram) and then we will schedule the  surgery when the blockage is found.

The Beast actually wished me a Happy Birthday, which shocked me since he doesn't celebrate them.  However, he was actually the fourth person who did that.  The first was my friend, Carol, who sent me a beautiful flower arrangement.  It really IS gorgeous and has some flowers I have seen before but have no clue as to their name.  I hope they last because they are just so pretty.

The second was my son, Mustachio.  We were talking on the internet and, when my friend popped up to sing *Happy Birthday* to me, my son then looked at the time and said it to me.  This morning, my son, Marcus, called.  I had to call him back because I couldn't answer the phone while I was undergoing my testing.

I put my wine in the fridge to chill and I will open it a little later to toast myself a Happy Birthday while it's storming outside  Love you all.  Have a great day!  ***Hugs***
