WHAT A DAY!

The Princess, Gunner and Chewlee came by the house today after being down at the lake.  Chewlee was still soaked since I think she went into the water in her clothes.  At one point, she wrapped herself in a blanket because she was cold.

The Beast got a cute picture of her holding Gunner.  It looks like he is wailing but he was actually yawning since he had been asleep...LOL.  Chewlee actually has this happy look on her face like she is enjoying being a big sister.

She brought in a handful of feathers she had collected that had to have been on the ground.  All different sizes of them.  Do birds pull out their own feathers?  Or do they lose them when they fight over who knows what?  

I found out that Mustachio never did let Tara know he was coming down after all and we hoped for a family type picnic.  I found out the Princess is planning on a barbeque at her house and going down to the lake later in the day.  I need to talk to Mustachio and have him get hold of Tara so she will join us at the Princess' house.  There are things for Chance to play on there so it shouldn't be a tough decision for her to join us.  I will make potato salad and some fruit salad for us all and bring hot dogs and hamburgers.  If Marcus and family join us, the more, the merrier.  We can then head down to the lake to cool down and meet up with the Princess later in the day.  Gunner is too young to spend the day in the heat and sun.

The Beast started to get his clothes ready for Atlanta and will start packing things up today.  Thursday will be upon us in no time at all.  Tuesday will be a wasted day and, possibly, a lot of Wednesday, too.  If things go like they did the last time, it should all be fine, however.  He will more than likely leave early for Atlanta, depending on when his sister will get in.  Mustachio will more than likely get in here in the early afternoon.   That gives us plenty of time to go to the store for the things I need to get.

After folding some things for the Beast that he had washed, I started making myself a list for the store.  I don't want to forget anything and have to make more than one trip.  I also want to make sure we get some beverages for us.  I am making a list and checking it twice...LOL!

Well, it was another hot, muggy day.  No rain so far although the weather channel says some possible thunderstorms later.  Ah, well!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far.  Love you all.  ***Hugs***
