One Day, Maybe....

I keep thinking that I should be doing this blog at a regular time every day.  That might actually help me not to forget to post on those odds days that happens.  If I ever got into some kind of regular bedtime schedule...maybe...just maybe...that would happen.  But don't hold your breath!

The Princess got some floral arrangements today, courtesy of my friend out in California.  I swear she is forging some special kind of relationship with florists in this area.  But I was shocked and surprised to find out that three...yes, three...arrangements were delivered.  One was for the baby, you would have to say...it is gorgeous!  It has a sailboat on it that says...Ahoy!  Then, right next to it, a sign says...It's a boy!  Too cute!  There was another lovely arrangement that was for the Princess and Johnnycakes....and even one for Chewlee!  I tell you, that woman knows how to make the rest of us look like pikers...LOL.

I wanted to go over today to get a baby fix but had some much wash that needed to be done, I just couldn't go.  The Beast had gone over earlier to take a few pictures of the baby but he wasn't happy with them even before he looked at them.  He said the light just wasn't good and the flash bothered the baby too much.  But I saw one of the pictures he took and didn't think it was bad at all.  He's his own worse critic at times.

I managed to get all my wash done, even got it all hung up, folded and put away.  I made us dinner...enchiladas, Spanish rice and refried beans.  Not bad at all.  Not my best effort because the enchiladas were cheese and I didn't really put enough in them.  But it was tasty and it worked for us.  The Beast was happy because he had been out mowing the lawn and just plain wasn't up to even making himself a grilled cheese sandwich (which he had said he was going to until I said I had already planned on something).  He immediately relaxed and was happy.

Baron has been on his medication for the infection for three days and what an improvement in just that short a time!  His appetite is back and, when the Beast took him out for his run, Baron did NOT run into the woods at all.  We suspect that is the source of the skin problems with the tall weeds back there and lord only knows what other nasty things there might be.  But he really had no desire to run in there even tho' that is usually where he poops.  The Beast tried to keep Baron on the vacant lots for that so none of our neighbors would complain.  His nose in now cold and wet and he isn't laying around all the time.  He's started playing with his toys again...LOL.  That is always a funny sight.  He wants the Beast to throw the toys but won't give them back once he retrieves them.  I really think he wants the Beast to chase him around to try to get it from him.  LOL!  Good luck with that!

It was hot, of course, and although the clouds got thick and dark (and interfered with my internet connection), we didn't get any rain to speak of.  Oh, it sprinkled a teeny bit but stopped almost as quickly as it started.  That was the extent of the much expected downpour they predicted.

Okay...it's time for me to get back to bed now so I will say goodnight and get this posted.  Love you all and have a great weekend.  ***Hugs***
